public interface EventListenerTheEventListenerinterface is the primary method for handling events. Users implement theEventListenerinterface and register their listener on anEventTargetusing theAddEventListenermethod. The users should also remove theirEventListenerfrom itsEventTargetafter they have completed using the listener.When a
Nodeis copied using thecloneNodemethod theEventListeners attached to the sourceNodeare not attached to the copiedNode. If the user wishes the sameEventListeners to be added to the newly created copy the user must add them manually.See also the Document Object Model (DOM) Level 2 Events Specification.
